Individual Therapy

I offer individual therapy services to teens, young adults, and adults. I seek to establish an inclusive environment in my office where people can share whatever they would like. Society can be judgmental enough, so no one should feel judged in the therapeutic space. I love to meet my clients where they are at - for some clients, they have been through multiple therapists whereas for others this is their first time walking into a therapist’s office. It doesn’t matter - we can begin wherever it is you feel most comfortable.

In therapy, I utilize modalities from the following therapeutic techniques - CBT, CPT, ACT, motivational interviewing, and more. That being said, no two clients are the same so I also tailor my practice through an incredibly individualized lens. I offer both in person and virtual therapy and all therapy sessions are 50 minutes long- you can choose to do only in person or virtual OR a mixture of both - whatever your heart desires!

Eating Disorders & Body Image

I have extensive experience working in eating disorder treatment centers across the country. I operate from a Health at Every Size (HAES) framework and utilize these principles in my work with clients. I have worked with clients in all levels of care and believe in a collaborative approach both with the client as well as other members of their team (dietitian, doctors, etc.) Eating disorder recovery can be incredibly daunting, so I seek to make it a little less challenging by creating a safe space for clients to talk about their struggles. Eating disorder recovery is possible and together we can get there.

LGBTQ + Community

No matter how old you are, the coming out process can feel incredibly overwhelming. I am here to help you through it. As a member of the LGBTQ+ community, myself, I get it from both a professional as well as personal lens. Humans’ sexuality can be complex, so I seek to establish an office space where we can talk about these complexities and help you better understand your identity. This does not necessarily mean that we need to provide labels for that sexuality; however, for some people this can be very helpful. I will meet you wherever you are at!

Individual Sex Therapy

Sex can be a difficult topic for some to discuss. Everyone should have a space to be able to talk about sex. Perhaps you are having emotional concerns related to your sex life or you are experiencing some physical and/ or physiological distress related to your sex life. Regardless of what is going on for you, I hope to create a safe space to talk about these issues. Sometimes sexual concerns can elicit a lot of shame in individuals and oftentimes the shame can only make things worse. Let’s talk through it and see how we can make things better.

Life Transitions

There are so many different situations that can be considered a life transition - a move, divorce, loss, marriage, baby, etc. Some of these life transitions can be deeply challenging and others incredibly joyful - regardless, usually a life transition comes with an array of emotions. Through individual therapy, we can talk more about this life transition and help you develop some coping strategies to move through it.
